My Experience at Geeky Tech

I’m the Head of Technical SEO at Geeky Tech. In many ways, technical SEOs are like the dentists or mechanics of the website world. We spend our time carrying out maintenance, identifying issues before they become major problems, and making sure everything is running as it should. If you ignore technical issues for long enough, they can become much bigger and more expensive to fix later on.

I’m based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and work with clients and colleagues across the UK and beyond. My work philosophy is simple: get things done, and get them done properly. I believe in practical solutions, attention to detail, and leaving things better than I found them.

I’m an avid gardener and I name my plants. Last winter I grew several prolific Brussel sprout plants named Brussel Crowe and Sproutney Spears. If a plant survives long enough in my garden, it usually earns both a name and a backstory.

My Office Claim to Fame

My office claim to fame is that my two English Bulldogs, Creswell and Tuffet, are probably better known around Geeky Tech than I am. They make regular guest appearances on calls and have built up quite a fan club.
