Geeky Tech is a digital marketing agency that helps technology companies get noticed through data-driven SEO and advertising. We partner with leading companies in the cyber security, virtual clinical trial, and data management sectors. Our team is looking for a highly skilled technical SEO expert to join the ranks of Geekdom.
Key details:
- Salary - £25-38k annual

Fully remote, flexible 35 hours/week or 140 hours/month.
Hours are roughly based around UK office hours - 23 days of holiday a year, plus all public and bank holidays.

Pre-requisites:
- 2 years of experience within the SEO industry
- Some experience with technical SEO and audits/optimisations of websites.
- Comfortable working in the backend of WordPress or similar CMSs.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced technical SEO worker to join our dynamic team at Geeky Tech. The successful candidate will join a small Technical Team whose collective responsibility is implementing the following –Â
- Google Search Console, Analytics & Tag Manager setup with best practices.
- Website Audit (Technical focus)
- Page Optimisations
- Conversion Tracking (Tag & Measurement plans & implementation)
- Creation of SEO Reports (Looker Studio)
- Website Migrations (pre & post migration – not the actual DNS changes)

Experience in the following is beneficial but not required.

- HubSpot
- WebFlow
- Squarespace
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Tag Manager
- Looker Studio
- Google Sheets
- Screaming Frog
- HTML
- CSS
- Schema
- Ranking Tools (general experience)
- Content Optimisation Tools (general experience)
- Website Crawlers (ahrefs etc.)
Although the role is not customer-facing, frequent internal calls to discuss progress and troubleshoot are required. We need someone who works well as a team and is happy to learn new systems and problem-solve when required.
Please note that while experience in the above areas is highly desirable, we value a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
